About Svolvaer
Svolvær serves as the administrative center of Vågan Municipality in Nordland County, situated on the dramatic island of Austvågøya within the famed Lofoten archipelago along the glistening waters of the Vestfjorden. It functions as a prominent port of call, famously welcoming ships along the route of the historic Norwegian Coastal Express that connects Bergen in the south to Kirkenes in the far north.
